Music & fun shows throughout the day - Check out the bands on the McGee Main Stage during the day and view some great performances starting at 10am on the second stage including magic with John Logan, South Shore Natural Science Center animal presentation, puppet show, a fashion show and zumba.
Craft & Vendor Fair - Over 150 artisans and crafters will be displaying their products for sale. You can browse through items such as dog treats and pet items, American Girl Doll clothes, hand crafted jewelry, pocketbooks, hand knitted scarves, photographs and more.
$$ Food Sales - Fried dough, sausage subs, hot dogs, hamburgers, steak & cheese, desserts and more will be sold throughout the day on the main field. Click here for information on vendors.
Knucklebones is a unique company that provides activities for people ages 1-99. Games like bocce, tug of war, volleyball, cornhole, ladder ball, balance bikes, badminton, croquet, frisbees, football games, sac races, and much more. Over 50 activities will be available to try... There is something for everyone!
$$ Boston Bowl Lawn Bowling - Join Boston Bowl of Hanover for fun bowling activities. Win prizes! This popular event is returning for the 3rd year.
Slack Lining - You may have seen a performer using slack lines during Madonna's 1/2 time show at the Super Bowl. Try out this unique activity for yourself in the Grove area.
Hoof n' Whiskers 4-H Club - Come feed mother and baby goats, see a milking demonstration, see baby chicks, ducks, rabbits & chickens.
Zumba - Join Hanover resident Jodi Craft for Zumba at 2:30 on the 2nd stage. Jodi has tons of energy and makes this fun exercise even more exciting and easy to try!
Radio Disney - Come join the fun with Radio Disney games & music on Sylvester Field
Fairy Houses - Visit the Stetson House, across the street from the field, and join the Hanover Garden Club to make fairy house out of natural material. All ages welcome!
Chainsaw Carving - Ross MacVicar, a well known local chainsaw carver, will be working on different projects throughout the day and you can watch him work as well as purchase some of his items if you'd like to. Ross has also been featured at the Marshfield Fair.
Dunk Tank - Sponsored by Hanover Youth Athletics & located in the Grove area.
Hanover Hockey Clinic & Consignment Sale - located in Skate Park area
Join the Scouts! - Look for the Boy Scout and Girls Scout tables to get more information about how to join. Look for a special display from Troop 1 of Hanover featuring a rope bridge you can walk on. Troop 1 is celebrating their 100th year anniversary!
Fashion Show - Join Maria Wood's Fashion Focus to view a fashion show at 1:45 on the 2nd stage. Maria is going to do a fashion show with Wishlist Consignment who has "some fabulous, one of a kind, designer clothing" that the girls will be to outfitted in.
Talking Hands Puppet Theater - Two original puppet shows will be performed on the 2nd stage.
Moonwalks - Kids can jump and do the obstacle courses in the moonwalks provided by Starland/University Sports Complex of Hanover. Check out their table for more information on their new sports complex that is coming to Hanover this fall!
Chalk Art Contest - Kids under 12 can enter to win prizes by doing their best chalk art design on the pathway between Sylvester and Center School. Sign up is required. Please email Lynne Hash at [email protected] for more information.
Stetson House Artisans - Visit the Stetson House, across the street, to see many local artisans demonstrating their crafts. Craftsmen will be doing wood turning, shaker boxes, post and beam construction and more!
Kid's Scavenger Hunt - Win a summer fun basket donated by The Toy Box! To participate, visit the Hanover Cultural Council Information tent to get an entry blank. You will go to different locations throughout the event to get a stamp. Once you have all areas stamped you can bring your entry blank back and be entered to win the prize basket.
Community Art Project - Join artist Karen Cass for a creative, fun project in the Grove area.
Send in the Clowns - South Shore Joeys will be doing balloon twisting and clowning throughout the event. $$ Face painting will also be available for a fee.
Bog Pit Exhibit - Hanson Children's Museum will be bringing this fun activity for kids.
Peace Rocks! - Join the Hanover Diversity Committee for fun painting projects.
$$ Princess Meet & Greet - Meet Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty in the Princess Meet & Greet tent sponsored by Big Smile/Big Hearts. Children will receive an autographed picture and parents can take pictures with the princess. Money goes to benefit Big Smile/Big Hearts Charities.
Elite Football Academy - Elite will be providing equipment to conduct fun football drills and activities for kids as a sneak preview of their Football camp to be offered this summer in Hanover.
