Save the Date - June 26 & 27, 2026!
Thank you for a fantastic festival!
The weather cooperated, the crowds turned out, and Hanover Day 2025 was a great success!

THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, sponsors, performers, the Chamber of Commerce, road race runners, town departments, and everyone who had a hand in making this the best show ever!

We are resting up this week but will be posting photos and soon will start planning for Hanover Day 2026.
Stay tuned!

Ten thousand reasons to love Hanover Day!
The highlight of Hanover Day is the McGee Toyota Fireworks Show, made possible through a generous donation by McGee Toyota of Hanover, a family-owned business that has been serving the community for more than 40 years. Rob McGee, shown presenting his $10,000 donation to festival Co-Chair Paul Nimeskern, stepped up as the premier sponsor 10+ years ago, and helped create a fun show that everyone looks forward to each year.

Carnival
Have you ever wondered what happens with the funds raised at Hanover Day? Money from our annual celebration, plus Hanover’s share of state cultural funds, is used to support arts, science, and humanities projects throughout the year.
Between September 2 and October 16, 2025, the Hanover Cultural Council will accept applications from organizations, schools, and individuals for grants to fund cultural activities in Hanover. These grants can support a variety of arts, science, and humanities projects, including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops, and lectures.

This year’s allocation to Hanover from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) is $8,400, and additional funds are available thanks to the past success of Hanover Day. The Council will meet later this fall to review the applications and award the grants. Visit www.hanover-ma.gov/cultural-council for information.

A webinar will be held on September 9 at 6 p.m. to review the application process. Register at https://massculturalcouncil.org/event/local-cultural-council-grants-info-session-2/
